Close to QAL for work . Always reliable. Staff always cheerful and do their best. Good food - They were kind enough to have cooked breakfasts available very early [upon request night before]. Just a pleasant experience.

We stayed at Camelot Motel overnight to break our journey and the room was great for our needs. A roomy shower and separate bedroom to living helped as we were staying with our 2 children. The internet access was excellent. Check in and check out was very warm and friendly.

Me and my team stayed for a period of 2 weeks whilst working in Gladstone. The service we received was nothing short of outstanding. The managers could not do enough for us and went well beyond the normal call of duty which made our stay perfect and so much easier when working long days. Even having half of the crew on night shift was no problem and all the rooms were still serviced everyday.
The accommodation is clean and comfortable at excellent rates. I also highly recommend having a meal in the restaurant because the food and service was exceptional.
I visit Gladstone regularly and will not stay anywhere else.
Thanks John and Matty you are the best and look forward to seeing you again soon.

I have nothing but praise for all the staff at Camelot, I was greeted by the friendly managers who told me that the teams that had arrived before me were very polite and respectable young boys. This made me so proud of the 28 young boys who had travelled away from home and some never having been away from Mum and Dad. After each meal the managers were quick to come back and tell me about the boys, how they even stacked their plates or made sure they used the rubbish bins.
All staff went out of their way to make sure my stay was quiet and pleasant. They made sure I could eat breakfast or dinner with the boys if I wanted. It was a lovely area to look out over at night with the lights from the different facilities lighting up the night sky. Beautiful sounds of the birds and animals waking up in the morning.

Myself and 15 of my fellow Macquarie University students stayed here the day before and after our study trip to Heron Island. The couple that run this motel are the loveliest and most accommodating people i've ever met! They knew we were on student budgets so they helped us out at every turn. Taxis were booked, places for affordable food were suggested and wonderful meals and drinks were provided by these wonderful people. Don't forget to say hi to Gonzo the fighting fish when you arrive as well!

The staff at Camelot Motel are amazing. Always happy to help no matter what it is you need. Great with recommendations for where to eat and what to do, and always willing to provide as much information as possible. Would definitely recommend. Stayed one night either side of travelling elsewhere and didn't have an issue!

Well worth a visit, every road trip we make from Mackay to Brisbane, this is our rest stop. Fabulous friendly service, spotless spacious rooms. Even arriving late into the evening, nothing a problem. Great location, main town 5 mins up road to eateries. Highly recommend.

We had a wedding to go to and the Managers at Camelot Motel went out of the way to help us as we had no transport. We needed to go to the shops and it was no bother for them to take us. It was very appreciated. We found the motel to be very clean and tidy, garden very well maintained and heaps of parking if needed.
